I have a little pet cat.

I found her caught in the rain.

Even though I love her so much,

sometimes, she can be a pain.

When I want to play with her,

I would call on her name.

Yet, she doesn’t respond to me,

which is such a shame.

Sometimes my cat would meow

whenever she wants something.

She’d do anything to get my attention

even when I am working.

My cat may cause me trouble,

but I still love her.

I’d sit on my couch and she’d be on my lap,

purring as I stroke her fur.

Sometimes, we act like a cat to God.

Only praying to Him when we want something.

But after we get what we want,

we abandon God and do our own thing.

Indeed, God is our Father,

but He is also our friend.

We can pray for more than just what we want.

To show that we care about Him to the end.
